The Oberlin Alumni Association, in partnership with the Oberlin College Libraries, will be hosting lunch and an Oberlin Alumni tour of the "Votes for Women: A Portrait of Persistence" exhibit at the National Portrait Gallery.

Lunch will be served from 12 p.m. - 2 p.m. and feature Alexia Hudson-Ward, Azariah Smith Root Director for Libraries and Emily Cole, Director of Alumni Engagement, at CIRCA Bistros CIRCA (781 7th Street NW, Washington, DC 20009). The tour will begin at 3 p.m.

The "Votes for Women: A Portrait of Persistence" exhibit includes three of the Libraries’ photographic portraits of the black women graduates of 1884 (Mary Church Terrell, Anna Julia Cooper, and Ida Gibbs Hunt) from our college archives.
