Oberlin Club of Washington, DC: Night at the Theatre

Are you in need of a break from winter? The cure to the witner blahs is to get out and join your fellow Obies on Friday, January 31, 2020 for an evening at The Simon and Garfunkel Show.

Depending on your era, you can recapture memories or simply enjoy the timeless songs.

Oberlin Club of Washington, DC: Night at the Theatre

This immersive concert-style theater show chronicles the amazing journey shared by folk-rock duo Paul Simon and Art Garfunkel. It tells the story from their humble beginnings as Tom & Jerry to their incredible success as one of the best-selling music groups of the ‘60s to their dramatic split in 1970. It culminates with the famous “The Concert in Central Park” reunion in 1981 with more than half a million fans in attendance. Using huge projection photos and original film footage, the show also features a full live band performing all of their hits, including “Mrs. Robinson,” “Cecilia,” “Bridge Over Troubled Water,” “Homeward Bound,” and many more. - The National Theatre

Seats are in the center balcony at the group price. For more information about the event, please contact Clyde Owan '79 at: clydeobie@verizon.net.
