CANCELED: Oberlin Club of San Francisco Bay Area: The Marine Mammal Center Behind the Scenes Tour: An Earth Day Observance

Join your fellow Obies on Sunday, April 4 at 9:45 a.m. for a special behind-the-scenes tour of The Marine Mammal Center in the Marin Headlands.

CANCELED: Oberlin Club of San Francisco Bay Area: The Marine Mammal Center Behind the Scenes Tour: An Earth Day Observance

The tour is a one-hour private tour from 10-11 a.m. where we'll get to see areas that the public normally doesn't. And yes, we will see some noisy elephant seal pups (but we won't be able to interact with the patients; this is a hospital and we want to make sure they can be released back to the wild)!

DETAILS:
9:45 a.m. | Gather at The Marine Mammal Center where the tour will officially begin at 10 a.m.

After the tour | Marin Headlands has wonderful hiking trails, weather permitting. There are picnic tables next to the Center, but no food for sale. For lunch afterward, Avatar and Bayside Cafe are nearby.

Visitor parking is available at the Center.

LIMIT OF 20 PEOPLE, please RSVP to let us know you're coming.

PARKING:
Parking is available at The Marine Mammal Center. Parking may be limited. We suggest carpooling if you are able.

PUBLIC TRANSIT:
On Saturdays and Sundays, there is public transportation to the Marin Headlands using the MUNI 76X Marin Headlands Express. It ends at Rodeo Beach, a pleasant 10-15 minute walk to the Center.
