It’s hard to believe that the leaves are already falling off the trees in Oberlin, but it is making for a glorious Northeast Ohio backdrop. This is also the time of year when we invite parents, family, and friends to campus to visit your student to celebrate all that is Oberlin. Although we are unable to welcome you in person, we have created an exciting Virtual Family Visit October 25-31. We have a myriad of events in which to virtually participate. The week will begin with a fireside chat with President Carmen Twillie Ambar. Students in the “Playwrighting in the Time of Black Lives Matter” class will read from their work, the division of Student Life will convene a panel discussion on “Helping College Students to Grow and Thrive in a Pandemic”, and there will be student and faculty performances, lectures and workshops.
