An In-person Tour of the John Singer Sargent Exhibition Featuring Nathalie Ryan ’97, Senior Educator in the Department of Interpretation at the National Gallery of Art

Join museum educator Nathalie Ryan ’97 for a tour of Sargent and Spain. This exhibition explores John Singer Sargent’s captivation with Spain and the remarkable body of work inspired by his travels there. From dazzling oil paintings, watercolors, and photographs, the artist responded to the country’s rich culture by producing landscapes and marine scenes, pictures of everyday life, architectural studies, and portrayals of the locals he encountered.
