Join us for a stroll on the paths of Albany Bulb. Once, a landfill from building the railroads, now, a park full of interesting, quirky art.
The estimated walking time is roughly 1.5 hours.
Meet on the beach at the northernmost side (walk straight past the bathrooms, and you'll end up there). Please plan to arrive a little before 10:00 a.m. We will do introductions promptly at 10:00 a.m. and start up the trail 5 minutes later.
Parking: Parking can be tight on the weekends. Carpool or give yourself plenty of time to find parking (parking in the area has a two hour limit).
Bring: Layers, sunscreen, snacks for the trail, and water (there is no water available at the Bulb).
Trail Leader: Claire Cotts ’86. Cell number (510) 207-7709. Call or text with questions, late arrival issues, etc.
