Exhibition: Ethiopia at the Crossroads
An in-person tour of exhibition led by Curator Christine Sciacca
Baltimore and DC-area Obies will have the opportunity to tour the art exhibit “Ethiopia at the Crossroads” at the Walters Art Museum. Curator Christine Sciacca will lead a small group through the exhibit. The exhibit spans over 1,750 years of history and features 225 historical and contemporary works. “Ethiopia at the Crossroads” examines the country’s foundational role in world culture, religion, and the humanities, while illuminating the specific ways in which Ethiopian artists and communities encountered and exchanged ideas with other cultures near and far.
Daniel Wasse ’88 is the coordinator for this event.
