Oberlin College has made significant progress toward its ambitious goal of carbon neutrality by 2025. The campus energy infrastructure will be upgraded to allow a major shift from fossil fuels to renewable geothermal energy as the primary source for heating and cooling our campus buildings. Oberlin just completed year three of the four-year project including the start of the geothermal wellfield installation.
