FEATURING: A Portrait of the Artist as a Young Man by James Joyce
In honor of St Patrick's Day, we are reading a book many of us first encountered as young people, curious how our experience of it has changed. Joyce's first novel, published in 1916, is the coming-of-age story of his alter ego Stehen Dedalus, employing some of the modernist techniques of his later novels.
