“DC Obies Zoo Lights & Winter Happy Hour”
An In-Person Obie Gathering in DC's Cleveland Park Neighborhood
This in-person event will include a spectacular light show followed by a festive happy hour. We will meet in front of the Cleveland Park Neighborhood Library at 7 p.m. and then walk 10 minutes to the Smithsonian’s National Zoo to check out the lights. Afterwards, around 9 p.m., we’ll make our way to the nearby Nanny O'Briens Irish Pub for food and drinks.
Registration for Zoo Lights is $9/person and must be completed on the zoo’s website. Make sure to book your ticket for Friday, December 12. If you can’t make it to Zoo Lights, feel free just to join us for the Happy Hour afterwards.
Parking options are limited, so we recommend taking public transit. The library is a 3-minute walk from the Cleveland Park metro station on the red line. You may also take the following buses: C61, D70 , D72, or C87.
