It's time to contribute to the community in a meaningful way by joining to sort and pack donated food. Your volunteer work is an important contribution and personal statement, and will represent our local response to Oberlin's call to engage in volunteer work.
Afterwards, we will gather for refreshments at the San Antonio Bar and Grill at 3908 12th St., NE (between N Quincy St & N Randolph St).
Wear practical shoes and appropriate clothing.
Please sign up only if you are sure you will be able to attend, because we want to meet our pledged number of volunteers to help the Food Bank carry out its work. Also, please be aware of the Capital Area Food Bank's Youth policy: children must be 12 or older.
The Food Bank is not within walking distance of Metro. If necessary, we recommend that you try and catch a ride with an Obie participant.
