"Learning and Labor: Annual Oberlin Volunteer Day"
Contribute to the community and have fun bonding with fellow Obies!
It’s time to help our neighbors in need by joining fellow Obies to sort and pack donated food. Your volunteer work is an important contribution to the local community and demonstrates how we put our Oberlin values into action.
Wear practical shoes and appropriate clothing.
Afterwards, we will gather for refreshments at the San Antonio Bar and Grill at 3908 12th St NE (between N Quincy St & N Randolph St).
Please sign up only if you are sure you will be able to attend, because we want to meet our pledged number of volunteers to help the Food Bank carry out its work. Also, please be aware of the Capital Area Food Bank’s youth policy: children must be 12 or older.
For information, please contact Clyde Owan ’79 at: clydeobie@verizon.net.
