The Oberlin College women’s basketball team will journey from Ohio to participate in a two-day tournament in Waltham, Massachusetts, at Brandeis University. This trip allows alumni, parents, family members, and friends to gather pregame and enjoy snacks, beverages, and games.
The Games. On Friday, November 10, at 7:00 p.m., the Oberlin women will play Kean University in the first game. Friday’s results will determine the time of Oberlin’s game on Saturday. All games will be played at Brandeis’ Red Auerbach Arena (415 South Street, MS 007 | Waltham, MA 02453).
Pre-game Reception. For the convenience of Oberlin supporters, the central gathering of Obies is slated for Saturday, November 11. The event will take place before the Oberlin game in the arena’s multipurpose room. The estimated time for Saturday’s reception is either 10:45 a.m. or 12:45 p.m., depending on whether Oberlin plays in the consolation at 12:00 p.m. or the championship game at 2:00 p.m. Updates will be provided via email to those who register for the event.
The Reception. Everyone is invited to enjoy light snacks, non-alcoholic beverages, and conversation at a reception hosted by Heisman Club Board Member Jordan Jancosek '11 and her husband Jacob Wishart '10, both student-athletes at Oberlin.
A Time for Fun. Wear your Oberlin gear! Children are welcome! Their cheers will inspire our team to victory! There will also be plenty of OC Athletics swag for you to grab.
