About Lord Ed Vaizey
The Rt Hon. the Lord Vaizey of Didcot is a member of the House of Lords, business adviser, broadcaster, speaker and event host. He served as the UK Government Culture and Digital Minister from 2010-16, and was responsible for the roll out of the successful rural broadband programme to more than 4 million homes, the introduction of 4G, and tax credits for film, television, animation and video games, which helped make the creative industries the fastest growing part of the UK economy. It was Lord Vaizey who helped persuade Lucas Films to make the new Star Wars in the UK, and received a credit in the first film of the series.He is a trustee of Tate, chairman of the UK-ASEAN Business Council, an honorary fellow of the Radio Academy, and a well known broadcaster, with a show on Times Radio.

DRESS CODE:
The Reform Club operates a smart dress code. Please note any decision regarding the suitability of a member’s appearance will be entirely at the discretion of the Front of House team. Any member who does not comply with the dress code or is not sufficiently well-presented may be refused entry to the Club. Members are also responsible for ensuring that their guests comply with the dress code at all times.

Male members are required to wear a jacket and shirt with full collar. Ties are encouraged but not required. Female members are required to dress with similar formality. Recognised national and religious dress and service dress uniform is accepted at any time.

As a guide, the following are unacceptable items of dress:
Clothing: All denim, sportswear including polo shirts, vest tops, jodhpurs or leggings, cropped tops, sweatshirts, shorts and other similar attire.

Footwear: Trainers, hiking boots, sandals, flip-flops, hiking boots, deck shoes and other similar sports style footwear.
