Tilden Park Hike: Seaview Trail

This enjoyable hike has great views, attractive woodland, and scenic meadows.

DETAILS: Join us for a short hike of 3.8 miles. Meet at the Quarry picnic area parking lot (on the curve before Inspiration Point). We’ll go up the Seaview Trail to the lookout where you can see both sides of the Bay, and come down via the Big Springs trail. Bring water, sun hat, snacks, and sunscreen. We should have some nice spring greenery visible looking out towards San Pablo.

The trail is wide, but also has some fairly steep parts, erosion ruts and loose gravel and rocks on the path. Poles are recommended. Elevation gain is about 1,000 feet, with ups and downs on the way up the path.

We will have the option of heading down to Solano Avenue afterwards for lunch at Talavera Mexican Grill (outdoor seating).
