Tasha Cohan '11 (Moderator)
Tasha Cohan is a screenwriter and former television development executive. She currently has two feature romantic comedy screenplays in development. From 2018-2024, she was a Senior Manager of Creative Affairs at A+E Studios. She's worked on shows including Lifetime's FLOWERS IN THE ATTIC and Kan's THE MALEVOLENT BRIDE. Tasha has developed dramas at Amazon, Fox, Netflix, Hulu, Max and others.  She is passionate about empowering and connecting current students and Oberlin alums in entertainment through Obiewood. Tasha is an Eaton Fire survivor and is rebuilding her home in Altadena.

Kendra James '10 (Panelist)
Kendra James began writing professionally in 2011. Eventually she was hired by Shonda Rhimes personally to help launch her lifestyle brand and site. Kendra sold her debut memoir, Admissions: A Memoir of Surviving Boarding School (Grand Central Publishing, Jan 2022), while working as the Managing Editor for StarTrek.com, and producing the franchise’s official podcast, “Star Trek: The Pod Directive.” Kendra is now the Executive Producer of Entertainment and Culture podcasts at Crooked Media

Kendra continues to work as a freelance writer and cultural critic. She profiled Kerry Washington for Bustle in the summer of 2024, and her writing has been published widely from Elle, Marie Claire, Town and Country, Women's Health Magazine, Lenny, The Verge, Harpers, Catapult, and The Toast, among others. She has been heard on “Keep It,” “Lovett or Leave It,”  NPR’s “All of It” with Alison Stewart, “Bitch Sesh,” “Yo! Is This Racist?,” “This is Love,” “Star Trek: The Pod Directive,” and many more.

Austin Fisher (Panelist)
Austin Fisher is the Senior Producer of Pod Save America, the country's most listened-to progressive political podcast, where he drives the show's editorial direction and bookings. A five-time Webby Award winner, he has advised creators, political campaigns, and organizations on digital and audio strategy. He previously led digital strategy for the late healthcare activist Ady Barkan, named one of TIME's 25 Most Influential People on the Internet, including Barkan's interviews with the 2020 Democratic presidential field.

Andrew Ti (Panelist)

Andrew Ti is a Chinese American writer from Michigan who has written for That 90s Show, Mixed-ish, and Robot Chicken. Along with Tawny Newsome, he is the creator and co-host of the podcast, Starter Trek. Previously, he created the Yo, Is This Racist?, which he sold as a talk-sketch show to MTV, shooting a pilot with Comedy Bang Bang! Productions and Serious Business producing.
